Establishing continuous community engagement

This year, we are launching “Awaken the Love”, an initiative dedicated to establishing continuous community engagement. Starting in the community we live in and love “Washtenaw county” with a vision to expand to other cities and communities nation wide. Our desire is to create a movement of Faith, Hope and Love, that translates into works of compassion, community service and a generosity that touches and uplifts every part of the community and everyone in it. We are reaching out to churches, ministries, non-profits, businesses, and individuals from the diversity of backgrounds that make up our community so that together we can partner with each other to bring about citywide transformation and “Awaken the Love”. Our mission is to radically transform our cities by first establishing 24/7/365 worship, prayer, and outreaches followed up by life-on-life discipleship and mentoring.

We are currently recruiting, training, and building leaders and teams now as part of our initial steps. In partnership with University Christian Fellowship at Eastern Michigan University we have established currently our training and mission base as well as our house of prayer. we’ve already started engaging the community and are proactively working to expand opportunities and operations for volunteers and donors to make a greater impact.

We invite you to join us in this journey by partnering with us through donations, volunteering, and helping us spread the word about the work we are doing to serve those who are serving our community; The heroic volunteers that are making the vision of continuous community engagement and transformation a living reality.

If you are interested in volunteering fill out the form and someone from our team will reach to answer any questions and let you know the next steps.

  • Worship Leader:  to lead worship sets weekly or biweekly for an agreed set of time on location in our House prayer. Some experience would be helpful but not required just a heart that loves to worship Jesus and a heart to learn and serve. We will provide any necessary training and support.

  • Prayer Leader: to lead weekly or biweekly for an agreed set of time prayer and intercession sets on location in our House of prayer. Some experience is helpful but not required just a Love for God and for People with a willingness to learn and serve.  We will provide any necessary training and support

  • Outreach Leader:  to lead weekly or biweekly outreach sets and or outreach teams for an agreed set of time throughout Washtenaw county that helps to engage the community and show Christ’s love. Some experience would be helpful but not required Just a heart that loves God and Loves people with a willingness to learn and serve. We will provide any necessary training and support including evangelism training if applicable.

  • Follow-up + Discipleship/Mentoring: we need people who are willing to do weekly or biweekly for an agreed set of time follow-up, discipleship, and mentoring with those with whom we engage and that desire to be served in this way. Some experience is helpful but not required Just a heart that Loves building long-term life-giving relationships to make a lasting impact with those whom you serve. We will provide any necessary training and support.

  • Initiative Ambassadors:  we need people who are willing to help get the word out, whether that’s posting on your social media, speaking at your church or Bible Study, or connecting with friends family, and community influencers.  We will provide any necessary training and support.
